Comments: I was at S.C.Junior School and also S.C.High School for Boys from 1960- 1967 left at 15 to go to Hall Green Tech. Remember some of the teachers names mentioned, think I was in 1b,2b,3b,lower 4th, good at pottery, metalwork, anything practical. Was a scout, went to Forest of Dean to camp? passed my cooking badge with a stew? One of the school form teachers always used to wear a tweed jacket and smoked a pipe? can't remember his name?
Any of this ring any bells?

Comments: I attended from 1969 and left in 1974. Mrs Beales was the headmistress at the time. The other teachers who i can remember are Mrs Cowley History, Mrs Probert Science, Mrs Wilmot H.E. Mr Evans Art, Mrs Frankcombe Maths. I seem to think i was in 5T in my last year at school. Does anyone on here remember any of my classmates and friends as i would love to hear from them. Some of the girls were Janet Childs, Julie Randle, Jayne Beecham, Jane Boughton, Fiona Humphreys, Penny Levy, Stephanie Swain,.Be nice to hear from you or anyone that could put me in touch with any of my old school chums.
Comments: Does anyone remember the tv series england their england filming at sharmans in 1978/79 they filmed students making a half hour programme called Albert Hall, two of my brothers appeared in this but unfortunatley the recording has been lost, if any one still has a recording I would love to have a copy, my brothers names are Gary & James Cox
Comments: Anyone remember me 1b-4b 1955- 1959,I used to live next to the Prince of Wales pub. Names I remember include Clive Daniels,Peter Bowen,Alex Grant(4a) Roger McCrone, Colin Alder, David Nash,George Cave and many more. I left in 59 started work at Woolmans nursery and spent most of most of my working life in horticulture, now retired and living in Redditch. I would like to hear from any one of the same era.
Comments: I am the daughter of Peter McLauchlan who was Head of Sharmans Cross until it closed. Thank you so much to the person who posted the photo of the cricket team. My father will be 80 this month and I am drawing together photos etc of his life. I shall certainly show him this website.
Comments: I served my time between 1969-1974! Reading through some of these posts brings back memories. Who remembers the scout hut in the "spinney" next to the knobbling tree! I was known to scive most of Thursday in there having a music lesson. Its amazing how a half hour lesson can last so long! I never got caught but I know of a few who did. I was one of the "typing lesson" lads, you can see its finally come to some use. Mind you it was good excuse to get over to the girls school! I'll have to have a think about things and post a few more memoirs! ( 'scuse spelling I did Spanish, not French..... Oh, Mr Bourne...)
